การตักเตือนให้สรรเสริญพระเจ้า
135:1 พวกท่านจงสรรเสริญพระเยโฮวาห์เถิด พวกท่านจงสรรเสริญพระนามของพระเยโฮวาห์ จงสรรเสริญพระองค์ โอ พวกท่าน บรรดาผู้รับใช้ของพระเยโฮวาห์

An Exhortation to Bless God
135:1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise him, O ye servants of the LORD.

135:2 พวกท่านที่ยืนอยู่ในพระนิเวศน์ของพระเยโฮวาห์ ในบริเวณทั้งหลายแห่งพระนิเวศน์ของพระเจ้าของพวกเรา

135:2 Ye that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God,

135:3 จงสรรเสริญพระเยโฮวาห์ เพราะพระเยโฮวาห์ประเสริฐ จงร้องเพลงสรรเสริญแด่พระนามของพระองค์ เพราะการกระทำนั้นเพลิดเพลิน

135:3 Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.

135:4 เพราะพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงเลือกยาโคบไว้สำหรับพระองค์เอง และเลือกอิสราเอลไว้เป็นทรัพย์สมบัติอันล้ำค่าของพระองค์

135:4 For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.

135:5 เพราะข้าพเจ้าทราบว่าพระเยโฮวาห์นั้นใหญ่ยิ่ง และว่าองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของพวกเราเหนือกว่าพระอื่น ๆ ทั้งปวง

135:5 For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.

135:6 สิ่งใดก็ตามที่พระเยโฮวาห์พอพระทัย พระองค์ได้ทรงกระทำในฟ้าสวรรค์และในแผ่นดินโลก ในบรรดาทะเลและที่น้ำลึกทั้งสิ้น

135:6 Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.

135:7 พระองค์ทรงกระทำให้ไอน้ำขึ้นมาจากบรรดาที่สุดปลายแห่งแผ่นดินโลก พระองค์ทรงกระทำให้เกิดฟ้าแลบทั้งหลายสำหรับฝน พระองค์ทรงนำลมออกมาจากคลังทั้งหลายของพระองค์

135:7 He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.

135:8 ผู้ได้ทรงสังหารลูกหัวปีของอียิปต์ ทั้งของคนและของสัตว์

135:8 Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.

135:9 ผู้ได้ทรงส่งบรรดาหมายสำคัญและการมหัศจรรย์ทั้งหลายเข้ามาในท่ามกลางเจ้า โอ อียิปต์เอ๋ย ให้ต่อสู้กับฟาโรห์และให้ต่อสู้กับบรรดาข้าราชการของท่าน

135:9 Who sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.

135:10 ผู้ได้ทรงตีบรรดาประชาชาติใหญ่โต และทรงสังหารบรรดากษัตริย์ผู้ทรงฤทธิ์

135:10 Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;

135:11 สิโหนกษัตริย์ของคนอาโมไรต์ และโอกกษัตริย์แห่งเมืองบาชาน และบรรดาราชอาณาจักรแห่งคานาอัน

135:11 Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:

135:12 และได้ประทานแผ่นดินของพวกเขาให้เป็นมรดก เป็นมรดกแก่อิสราเอลประชากรของพระองค์

135:12 And gave their land for an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.

135:13 โอ ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ พระนามของพระองค์ดำรงอยู่เป็นนิตย์ โอ ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ และการระลึกถึงพระองค์ดำรงอยู่ตลอดทุกชั่วอายุ

135:13 Thy name, O LORD, endureth for ever; and thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.

135:14 เพราะพระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงพิพากษาประชากรของพระองค์ และพระองค์จะทรงเปลี่ยนพระทัยเกี่ยวกับบรรดาผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์

135:14 For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.

ความไร้สาระของรูปเคารพ
135:15 บรรดารูปเคารพของพวกคนต่างชาติเป็นเงินและทองคำ เป็นผลงานแห่งมือมนุษย์

Vanity of Idols
135:15 The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

135:16 รูปเหล่านั้นมีปาก แต่รูปนั้นไม่พูด รูปเหล่านั้นมีตา แต่รูปนั้นมองไม่เห็น

135:16 They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;

135:17 รูปเหล่านั้นมีหู แต่พวกมันฟังไม่ได้ยิน ทั้งไม่มีลมหายใจในปากของรูปเหล่านั้น

135:17 They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.

135:18 คนทั้งหลายที่ทำรูปเหล่านั้นก็เป็นเหมือนอย่างรูปเหล่านั้น ทุกคนที่วางใจในรูปเหล่านั้นก็เช่นกัน

135:18 They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.

135:19 จงถวายสาธุการแด่พระเยโฮวาห์ โอ วงศ์วานแห่งอิสราเอลเอ๋ย จงถวายสาธุการแด่พระเยโฮวาห์ โอ วงศ์วานแห่งอาโรนเอ๋ย

135:19 Bless the LORD, O house of Israel: bless the LORD, O house of Aaron:

135:20 จงถวายสาธุการแด่พระเยโฮวาห์ โอ วงศ์วานแห่งเลวีเอ๋ย พวกท่านที่ยำเกรงพระเยโฮวาห์ จงถวายสาธุการแด่พระเยโฮวาห์

135:20 Bless the LORD, O house of Levi: ye that fear the LORD, bless the LORD.

135:21 สาธุการแด่พระเยโฮวาห์ออกมาจากศิโยน ผู้ซึ่งทรงอาศัยอยู่ที่เยรูซาเล็ม พวกท่านจงสรรเสริญพระเยโฮวาห์เถิด

135:21 Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
