ผู้พยากรณ์เยฮูติเตียนเยโฮชาฟัท
19:1 และเยโฮชาฟัทกษัตริย์แห่งยูดาห์ได้เสด็จกลับไปโดยสวัสดิภาพถึงพระราชวังของพระองค์ที่กรุงเยรูซาเล็ม

Prophet Jehu Rebukes Jehoshaphat
19:1 And Jehoshaphat the king of Judah returned to his house in peace to Jerusalem.

19:2 และเยฮูบุตรชายของฮานานีผู้ทำนายได้ออกไปเฝ้าพระองค์ และทูลกษัตริย์เยโฮชาฟัทว่า “ควรที่พระองค์จะช่วยคนอธรรม และรักคนเหล่านั้นที่เกลียดชังพระเยโฮวาห์หรือ เพราะฉะนั้นพระพิโรธจึงมีมาเหนือพระองค์จากเบื้องพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์

19:2 And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD.

19:3 แต่อย่างไรก็ตาม ได้ทรงพบสิ่งดี ๆ ในพระองค์บ้าง เพราะพระองค์ได้กำจัดบรรดาเสารูปเคารพออกไปเสียจากแผ่นดิน และได้ตั้งพระทัยของพระองค์ที่จะแสวงหาพระเจ้า”

19:3 Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast taken away the groves out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart to seek God.

เยโฮชาฟัททรงตั้งผู้วินิจฉัยและคนเลวีในแผ่นดิน
19:4 และเยโฮชาฟัทประทับอยู่ที่กรุงเยรูซาเล็ม และพระองค์ได้ทรงออกไปท่ามกลางประชากรอีก ตั้งแต่เบเออร์เชบาถึงแดนเทือกเขาเอฟราอิม และนำพวกเขากลับมายังพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าแห่งบรรพบุรุษของพวกเขา

Jehoshaphat Establishes Judges and Teaching Levites
19:4 And Jehoshaphat dwelt at Jerusalem: and he went out again through the people from Beersheba to mount Ephraim, and brought them back unto the LORD God of their fathers.

19:5 และพระองค์ได้ทรงตั้งเหล่าผู้วินิจฉัยในแผ่นดินนั้น ทั่วนครที่มีป้อมทั้งสิ้นของยูดาห์ ทีละนคร

19:5 And he set judges in the land throughout all the fenced cities of Judah, city by city,

19:6 และตรัสกับผู้วินิจฉัยเหล่านั้นว่า “จงระมัดระวังสิ่งที่พวกท่านกระทำ เพราะว่าพวกท่านไม่ได้พิพากษาเพื่อมนุษย์ แต่เพื่อพระเยโฮวาห์ ผู้ได้ทรงสถิตอยู่กับพวกท่านในการพิพากษา

19:6 And said to the judges, Take heed what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for the LORD, who is with you in the judgment.

19:7 ฉะนั้นบัดนี้ จงให้ความเกรงกลัวพระเยโฮวาห์อยู่เหนือพวกท่าน จงระมัดระวังและกระทำสิ่งนั้น เพราะไม่มีความชั่วช้ากับพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของพวกเรา หรือการเห็นแก่หน้าคนใด หรือการรับสินบนทั้งหลาย”

19:7 Wherefore now let the fear of the LORD be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.

19:8 ยิ่งกว่านั้น ในกรุงเยรูซาเล็ม เยโฮชาฟัทได้ทรงตั้งคนเลวีบ้าง และพวกปุโรหิตบ้าง และหัวหน้าของบรรพบุรุษแห่งอิสราเอลบ้าง เพื่อจะให้การพิพากษาของพระเยโฮวาห์ และเพื่อวินิจฉัยบรรดาคดีที่โต้แย้งกัน เมื่อพวกเขากลับไปยังกรุงเยรูซาเล็ม

19:8 Moreover in Jerusalem did Jehoshaphat set of the Levites, and of the priests, and of the chief of the fathers of Israel, for the judgment of the LORD, and for controversies, when they returned to Jerusalem.

19:9 และพระองค์ได้ทรงกำชับพวกเขา โดยตรัสว่า “พวกท่านจงกระทำดังนี้ในความเกรงกลัวพระเยโฮวาห์ อย่างสัตย์ซื่อ และด้วยใจที่เพียบพร้อม

19:9 And he charged them, saying, Thus shall ye do in the fear of the LORD, faithfully, and with a perfect heart.

19:10 และเมื่อคดีใดก็ตามมาถึงพวกท่านจากพี่น้องของพวกท่านผู้อาศัยอยู่ในนครต่าง ๆ ของพวกเขา เกี่ยวกับเรื่องฆ่าฟันกัน ระหว่างพระราชบัญญัติและพระบัญญัติ บรรดากฎเกณฑ์และคำตัดสินทั้งหลาย พวกท่านจงตักเตือนพวกเขา เพื่อพวกเขาจะไม่ละเมิดต่อพระเยโฮวาห์ และจนพระพิโรธมาเหนือพวกท่านและมาเหนือพี่น้องของพวกท่าน จงกระทำเช่นนี้ และพวกท่านจะไม่ละเมิด

19:10 And what cause soever shall come to you of your brethren that dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and judgments, ye shall even warn them that they trespass not against the LORD, and so wrath come upon you, and upon your brethren: this do, and ye shall not trespass.

19:11 และดูเถิด อามาริยาห์ผู้เป็นปุโรหิตใหญ่ก็อยู่เหนือพวกท่านในสรรพกิจของพระเยโฮวาห์ และเศบาดิยาห์บุตรชายของอิชมาเอลผู้เป็นเจ้านายของวงศ์วานของยูดาห์ในสรรพกิจของกษัตริย์ และคนเลวีจะเป็นพวกเจ้าหน้าที่อยู่ต่อหน้าพวกท่านด้วย จงประกอบกิจอย่างกล้าหาญเถิด และพระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงสถิตอยู่กับคนดี”

19:11 And, behold, Amariah the chief priest is over you in all matters of the LORD; and Zebadiah the son of Ishmael, the ruler of the house of Judah, for all the king's matters: also the Levites shall be officers before you. Deal courageously, and the LORD shall be with the good.
