โมเสสได้เห็นแผ่นดินคานาอัน แล้วสิ้นชีวิตบนภูเขาเนโบ
34:1 และโมเสสก็ขึ้นไปจากบรรดาที่ราบแห่งโมอับถึงภูเขาเนโบ ถึงยอดภูเขาปิสกาห์ ซึ่งอยู่ตรงข้ามเมืองเยรีโค และพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงสำแดงให้ท่านเห็นแผ่นดินกิเลอาดทั้งหมดจนถึงดาน

Moses Sees Palestine; Dies on the Mount
34:1 And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho. And the LORD shewed him all the land of Gilead, unto Dan,

34:2 และนัฟทาลีทั้งหมด กับแผ่นดินเอฟราอิมและมนัสเสห์ กับแผ่นดินยูดาห์ทั้งสิ้น จนถึงทะเลที่อยู่ไกลออกไป

34:2 And all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, unto the utmost sea,

34:3 และทางทิศใต้ กับที่ราบของหุบเขาแห่งเยรีโค นครแห่งต้นอินทผลัม จนถึงโศอาร์

34:3 And the south, and the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, unto Zoar.

34:4 และพระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสกับท่านว่า “นี่เป็นแผ่นดินซึ่งเราได้ปฏิญาณไว้ต่ออับราฮัม ต่ออิสอัค และต่อยาโคบ โดยตรัสว่า ‘เราจะให้แผ่นดินนี้แก่เชื้อสายของเจ้า’ เราได้ทำให้เจ้าเห็นแผ่นดินนั้นกับตาของเจ้าแล้ว แต่เจ้าจะไม่ได้ข้ามไปยังที่นั่น”

34:4 And the LORD said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.

34:5 ดังนั้นโมเสสผู้รับใช้ของพระเยโฮวาห์ได้สิ้นชีวิตที่นั่นในแผ่นดินโมอับ ตามพระดำรัสของพระเยโฮวาห์

34:5 So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD.

34:6 และพระองค์ทรงฝังท่านไว้ในหุบเขาในแผ่นดินโมอับ ตรงข้ามเบธเปโอร์ แต่ไม่มีผู้ใดรู้จักหลุมฝังศพของท่านจนถึงทุกวันนี้

34:6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.

34:7 และโมเสสมีอายุหนึ่งร้อยยี่สิบปีเมื่อท่านสิ้นชีวิต นัยน์ตาของท่านไม่ได้พร่ามัวไป และกำลังของท่านก็ไม่ได้ถดถอยลง

34:7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

34:8 และลูกหลานของอิสราเอลร้องไห้ถึงโมเสสในบรรดาที่ราบแห่งโมอับสามสิบวัน แล้ววันทั้งหลายแห่งการร้องไห้และการไว้ทุกข์ถึงโมเสสก็สิ้นสุดลง

34:8 And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.

โยชูวา ผู้เต็มเปี่ยมด้วยพระวิญญาณ เป็นผู้นำคนอิสราเอลแทนโมเสส
34:9 และโยชูวา บุตรชายของนูน เต็มเปี่ยมด้วยวิญญาณแห่งสติปัญญา เพราะว่าโมเสสได้วางมือของท่านบนเขา และลูกหลานของอิสราเอลได้ตั้งใจฟังเขา และได้กระทำตามที่พระเยโฮวาห์ได้ทรงบัญชาโมเสส

Spirit Filled Joshua to Replace Moses
34:9 And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses.

34:10 และไม่มีผู้พยากรณ์คนใดเกิดขึ้นในอิสราเอลตั้งแต่วันนั้นมาเหมือนอย่างโมเสส ผู้ซึ่งพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงรู้จักหน้าต่อหน้า

34:10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face,

34:11 ในบรรดาหมายสำคัญและการมหัศจรรย์ทั้งหลาย ซึ่งพระเยโฮวาห์ได้ทรงส่งท่านไปกระทำในแผ่นดินอียิปต์ ต่อฟาโรห์ และต่อบรรดาข้าราชการของเขา และต่อแผ่นดินทั้งสิ้นของเขา

34:11 In all the signs and the wonders, which the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,

34:12 และในพระหัตถ์อันทรงฤทธิ์ทั้งสิ้น และในความน่าสะพรึงกลัวอันใหญ่โตทั้งหมดนั้น ซึ่งโมเสสได้สำแดงในสายตาของคนอิสราเอลทั้งปวง

34:12 And in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror which Moses shewed in the sight of all Israel.
