เอลีฮูมากล่าวฝ่ายพระเจ้า
32:1 ดังนั้น บุรุษทั้งสามคนนี้ก็หยุดตอบโยบ เพราะท่านชอบธรรมในสายตาของตนเอง

Elihu Comes to Defend God
32:1 So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.

32:2 แล้วความโกรธของเอลีฮู บุตรชายของบาราเคล คนบุชี จากครอบครัวของราม ก็พลุ่งขึ้น ความโกรธของเขาพลุ่งขึ้นใส่โยบ เพราะท่านอ้างว่าตัวชอบธรรมแทนที่จะอ้างว่าพระเจ้าทรงชอบธรรม

32:2 Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.

32:3 ความโกรธของเขาพลุ่งขึ้นใส่สหายสามคนของโยบด้วย เพราะพวกเขาหาคำตอบไม่พบ และยังประณามโยบ

32:3 Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.

32:4 บัดนี้ เอลีฮูได้คอยจนกระทั่งโยบพูดจบ เพราะพวกเขามีอายุมากกว่าตน

32:4 Now Elihu had waited till Job had spoken, because they were elder than he.

32:5 เมื่อเอลีฮูเห็นว่าไม่มีคำตอบในปากของบุรุษทั้งสามคนนี้แล้ว ความโกรธของเขาจึงพลุ่งขึ้น

32:5 When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, then his wrath was kindled.

32:6 และเอลีฮู บุตรชายของบาราเคล คนบุชี ตอบและกล่าวว่า “ข้ายังเยาว์วัย และพวกท่านสูงอายุมากแล้ว เพราะฉะนั้นข้าจึงเกรงกลัว และไม่ได้สำแดงความคิดเห็นของข้าแก่พวกท่าน

32:6 And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion.

32:7 ข้าได้พูดว่า ‘วันทั้งหลายควรจะพูด และปีมากมายควรจะสอนสติปัญญา’

32:7 I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.

32:8 แต่มีจิตวิญญาณอยู่ในมนุษย์ และการดลใจจากองค์ผู้ทรงมหิทธิฤทธิ์ให้ความเข้าใจแก่เขาทั้งหลาย

32:8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

32:9 บรรดาผู้ยิ่งใหญ่ไม่ใช่คนมีปัญญาเสมอไป ทั้งคนสูงอายุก็ไม่เข้าใจความยุติธรรม

32:9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

32:10 เพราะฉะนั้น ข้าจึงได้พูดว่า ‘ขอตั้งใจฟังข้า ข้าจะสำแดงความคิดเห็นของข้าด้วย’

32:10 Therefore I said, Hearken to me; I also will shew mine opinion.

32:11 ดูเถิด ข้าได้คอยฟังบรรดาถ้อยคำของพวกท่าน ข้าได้เงี่ยหูฟังเหตุผลทั้งหลายของพวกท่านขณะที่พวกท่านค้นหาว่าจะพูดอะไรดี

32:11 Behold, I waited for your words; I gave ear to your reasons, whilst ye searched out what to say.

32:12 ใช่แล้ว ข้าได้สนใจฟังพวกท่าน และดูเถิด ไม่มีผู้ใดในพวกท่านที่โน้มน้าวโยบ หรือที่ตอบบรรดาถ้อยคำของเขาได้

32:12 Yea, I attended unto you, and, behold, there was none of you that convinced Job, or that answered his words:

32:13 เกรงว่าพวกท่านจะพูดว่า ‘พวกเราได้พบพระปัญญาแล้ว พระเจ้าทรงผลักเขาลงแล้ว มิใช่มนุษย์’

32:13 Lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusteth him down, not man.

32:14 บัดนี้ เขามิได้เล็งถ้อยคำทั้งหลายของเขาใส่ข้า ทั้งข้าจะไม่ตอบเขาด้วยบรรดาถ้อยคำของพวกท่าน”

32:14 Now he hath not directed his words against me: neither will I answer him with your speeches.

32:15 พวกเขาก็ตกตะลึง พวกเขาไม่ตอบอีก พวกเขาไม่ได้พูดอีกเลย

32:15 They were amazed, they answered no more: they left off speaking.

32:16 “เมื่อข้าได้รอคอยแล้ว” (เพราะพวกเขาไม่พูด แต่ยืนนิ่งอยู่ และไม่ตอบอีก)

32:16 When I had waited, (for they spake not, but stood still, and answered no more;)

32:17 “ข้าได้กล่าวว่า ‘ข้าจะให้คำตอบส่วนของข้าด้วย ข้าจะสำแดงความคิดเห็นของข้าเช่นกัน

32:17 I said, I will answer also my part, I also will shew mine opinion.

32:18 เพราะข้าเต็มไปด้วยถ้อยคำทั้งหลาย จิตวิญญาณภายในข้าบังคับข้าอยู่’

32:18 For I am full of matter, the spirit within me constraineth me.

32:19 ดูเถิด ท้องของข้าเหมือนอย่างเหล้าองุ่นซึ่งไม่มีที่ระบายออก มันพร้อมที่จะระเบิดเหมือนอย่างถุงหนังใหม่ทั้งหลาย

32:19 Behold, my belly is as wine which hath no vent; it is ready to burst like new bottles.

32:20 ข้าจะพูดเพื่อข้าจะได้ความบรรเทา ข้าจะเปิดริมฝีปากของข้าและตอบ

32:20 I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.

32:21 ขออย่าให้ข้า ข้าขอร้องพวกท่าน แสดงความลำเอียงต่อบุคคลใด ๆ ทั้งอย่าให้ข้าให้คำประจบสอพลอทั้งหลายแก่ผู้ใด

32:21 Let me not, I pray you, accept any man's person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.

32:22 เพราะข้าไม่ทราบวิธีประจบสอพลอทั้งหลาย ถ้าทำอย่างนั้น ผู้ทรงสร้างข้าจะกำจัดข้าเสียในไม่ช้า”

32:22 For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.
