พระเยซูทรงเสด็จจากแคว้นกาลิลีเข้าสู่แคว้นยูเดีย
19:1 และต่อมาเมื่อพระเยซูตรัสถ้อยคำเหล่านี้เสร็จแล้ว พระองค์ก็เสด็จออกจากแคว้นกาลิลี และเข้ามาในเขตแดนแห่งแคว้นยูเดียฟากแม่น้ำจอร์แดนข้างโน้น

Jesus Comes from Galilee into Judea
19:1 And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan;

19:2 และประชาชนเป็นอันมากได้ตามพระองค์ไป และพระองค์ทรงรักษาพวกเขาให้หายที่นั่น

19:2 And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.

พระเยซูทรงอธิบายอย่างละเอียดถึงเรื่องการหย่าร้าง (มธ 5:31-32; มก 10:1-12; ลก 16:18)

Jesus Expounds on Divorce (Matt. 5:31-32; Mark 10:1-12; Luke 16:18)
19:3 The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?

19:4 และพระองค์ทรงตอบและตรัสกับพวกเขาว่า “พวกท่านไม่ได้อ่านหรือว่า ผู้ซึ่งได้ทรงสร้างมนุษย์ในเริ่มแรกนั้น ‘ได้ทรงสร้างพวกเขาให้เป็นชายและหญิง’

19:4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,

19:5 และตรัสว่า ‘เพราะเหตุนี้ผู้ชายจะจากบิดามารดา และจะไปผูกพันเข้ากับภรรยาของเขา และเขาทั้งสองจะเป็นเนื้ออันเดียวกัน’

19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?

19:6 ดังนั้น เขาทั้งสองจึงไม่เป็นสองต่อไป แต่เป็นเนื้ออันเดียวกัน เหตุฉะนั้นซึ่งพระเจ้าได้ทรงผูกพันกันแล้ว อย่าให้มนุษย์ทำให้พรากจากกันเลย”

19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

19:7 พวกเขาจึงกล่าวแก่พระองค์ว่า “ถ้าอย่างนั้นทำไมโมเสสได้สั่งให้มอบหนังสือแห่งการหย่าให้ และให้หย่าภรรยาได้”

19:7 They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?

19:8 พระองค์ตรัสแก่พวกเขาว่า “โมเสสได้ยอมให้ท่านทั้งหลายหย่าภรรยาของตน เพราะเหตุความแข็งกระด้างแห่งใจของท่านทั้งหลาย แต่ตั้งแต่เริ่มแรกนั้นก็มิได้เป็นอย่างนั้น

19:8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.

19:9 และเรากล่าวแก่ท่านทั้งหลายว่า ผู้ใดก็ตามที่จะหย่าภรรยาของตน หากไม่ใช่เพราะการล่วงประเวณี และจะไปแต่งงานกับหญิงคนอื่น เขาก็เล่นชู้ และผู้ใดก็ตามที่แต่งงานกับหญิงซึ่งถูกหย่าแล้วนั้นก็เล่นชู้”

19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

19:10 พวกสาวกของพระองค์ทูลพระองค์ว่า “ถ้ากรณีของผู้ชายเป็นเช่นนั้นกับภรรยาของเขา การสมรสก็ไม่ดีเลย”

19:10 His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry.

19:11 แต่พระองค์ตรัสกับพวกเขาว่า “มิใช่ทุกคนสามารถรับถ้อยคำนี้ได้ ยกเว้นคนเหล่านั้นที่ได้ถูกมอบไว้ให้

19:11 But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given.

19:12 ด้วยว่ามีขันทีบางคน ซึ่งเป็นขันทีตั้งแต่กำเนิดจากครรภ์มารดาของตน และมีขันทีบางคน ซึ่งถูกมนุษย์กระทำให้เป็นขันที และมีขันทีบางคน ซึ่งกระทำตัวเองให้เป็นขันทีเพราะเห็นแก่อาณาจักรแห่งสวรรค์ ใครสามารถรับได้ ก็จงให้เขารับเอาเถิด”

19:12 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

พระเยซูทรงอวยพระพรเด็กเล็ก ๆ (มก 10:13-16; ลก 18:15-17)
19:13 แล้วมีพวกเด็กเล็ก ๆ ถูกพามาหาพระองค์ เพื่อพระองค์จะทรงวางพระหัตถ์ของพระองค์บนพวกเขา และอธิษฐาน และพวกสาวกก็ห้ามปรามพวกเขาไว้

Jesus Blesses Little Children (Mark 10:13-16; Luke 18:15-17)
19:13 Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.

19:14 แต่พระเยซูตรัสว่า “จงยอมให้พวกเด็กเล็ก ๆ เข้ามาหาเรา และอย่าห้ามพวกเขาเลย เพราะว่าอาณาจักรแห่งสวรรค์ย่อมเป็นของคนเช่นนั้น”

19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

19:15 และพระองค์ทรงวางพระหัตถ์ของพระองค์บนพวกเด็กเล็ก ๆ นั้น และเสด็จไปจากที่นั่น

19:15 And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.

เรื่องเศรษฐีหนุ่ม (มก 10:17-30; ลก 10:25-30)
19:16 และดูเถิด คนหนึ่งมาและทูลพระองค์ว่า “ท่านอาจารย์ผู้ประเสริฐ ข้าพเจ้าจะต้องทำดีประการใดเพื่อข้าพเจ้าจะมีชีวิตนิรันดร์”

The Rich Young Ruler (Mark 10:17-30; Luke 10:25-30)
19:16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

19:17 และพระองค์ตรัสกับเขาว่า “ท่านเรียกเราว่าประเสริฐทำไมเล่า ไม่มีผู้ใดประเสริฐนอกจากพระองค์ผู้เดียว นั่นคือพระเจ้า แต่ถ้าท่านปรารถนาจะเข้าสู่ชีวิต ก็จงรักษาพระบัญญัติทั้งหลายไว้”

19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

19:18 เขาทูลพระองค์ว่า “คือพระบัญญัติข้อใดบ้าง” พระเยซูตรัสว่า “เจ้าอย่ากระทำการฆาตกรรม เจ้าอย่าเล่นชู้ เจ้าอย่าลักทรัพย์ เจ้าอย่าเป็นพยานเท็จ

19:18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

19:19 จงให้เกียรติแก่บิดาของเจ้าและมารดาของเจ้า และเจ้าจงรักเพื่อนบ้านของเจ้าเหมือนตนเอง”

19:19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

19:20 คนหนุ่มนั้นทูลพระองค์ว่า “สิ่งเหล่านี้ข้าพเจ้าได้ถือรักษาไว้ทุกประการตั้งแต่วัยหนุ่มของข้าพเจ้ามา ข้าพเจ้ายังขาดอะไรอีกบ้าง”

19:20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?

19:21 พระเยซูตรัสแก่เขาว่า “ถ้าท่านปรารถนาจะเป็นคนดีพร้อม จงไปและขายบรรดาสิ่งของซึ่งท่านมีอยู่ และแจกจ่ายให้คนยากจน และท่านจะมีทรัพย์สมบัติในสวรรค์ และจงมาและตามเราไป”

19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

19:22 แต่เมื่อคนหนุ่มนั้นได้ยินถ้อยคำนั้น เขาก็จากไปเป็นทุกข์ เพราะเขามีทรัพย์สิ่งของเป็นอันมาก

19:22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

19:23 แล้วพระเยซูตรัสกับพวกสาวกของพระองค์ว่า “เรากล่าวความจริงแก่ท่านทั้งหลายว่า คนมั่งมีจะเข้าในอาณาจักรแห่งสวรรค์ด้วยความยากลำบาก

19:23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

19:24 และอีกครั้ง เรากล่าวแก่ท่านทั้งหลายว่า ตัวอูฐจะลอดรูเข็มก็ง่ายกว่าคนมั่งมีจะเข้าในอาณาจักรของพระเจ้า”

19:24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

19:25 เมื่อพวกสาวกของพระองค์ได้ยินดังนั้น พวกเขาก็ประหลาดใจยิ่งนัก โดยทูลว่า “ถ้าอย่างนั้นใครจะรอดได้”

19:25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

19:26 แต่พระเยซูทอดพระเนตรดูพวกเขา และตรัสกับพวกเขาว่า “สำหรับมนุษย์สิ่งนี้เป็นไปไม่ได้ แต่สำหรับพระเจ้าสิ่งสารพัดก็เป็นไปได้”

19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

พวกอัครทูตจะพิพากษาอิสราเอลสิบสองเผ่า
19:27 แล้วเปโตรตอบและทูลพระองค์ว่า “ดูเถิด ข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายได้สละสิ่งสารพัด และได้ตามพระองค์มา ฉะนั้นข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายจึงจะได้อะไรบ้าง”

Apostles to Judge the Twelve Tribes
19:27 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?

19:28 และพระเยซูตรัสกับพวกเขาว่า “เรากล่าวความจริงแก่ท่านทั้งหลายว่า พวกท่านซึ่งได้ตามเรามา ในการสร้างสิ่งสารพัดขึ้นใหม่คราวเมื่อบุตรมนุษย์จะนั่งในพระที่นั่งแห่งสง่าราศีของพระองค์นั้น พวกท่านจะได้นั่งบนบัลลังก์สิบสองที่เช่นกัน โดยพิพากษาคนอิสราเอลสิบสองเผ่า

19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

19:29 และทุกคนที่ได้สละบ้าน หรือพี่น้องชายหญิง หรือบิดามารดา หรือภรรยา หรือบุตรทั้งหลาย หรือที่ดิน เพราะเห็นแก่นามของเรา จะได้รับผลหนึ่งร้อยเท่า และจะได้ชีวิตนิรันดร์เป็นมรดก

19:29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

19:30 แต่หลายคนที่เป็นคนต้นจะกลับเป็นคนสุดท้าย และที่เป็นคนสุดท้ายจะกลับเป็นคนต้น”

19:30 But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.
